Hemant Soren may take oath as Jharkhand CM alone, Cabinet to be sworn in later
Salman, the leader of the notorious D-170 gang, is set to marry despite being under a district-bound order due to his extensive criminal activities. The marriage ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday night in Delhi. Salman, who hails from Ismail Nagar in Kotwali, was released from prison six months ago after serving a sentence. After his release, he moved to Delhi and had his engagement arranged with Jeba, the daughter of Shahabuddin Gazi, a resident of Sikandarabad, Bulandshahr. The marriage is confirmed, and Salman will be residing with his wife at her parental home in Sikandarabad after the ceremony.
Salman has been under strict surveillance due to his involvement in several criminal activities. He was recently charged under the Goonda Act by the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of the city, which led to his district-bound order for six months. According to police sources, a notice of this order was pasted at his residence in Ismail Nagar, Kotwali, informing him of the restriction. Despite the order, Salman’s brother, Amir Gazi, confirmed that he has been living in Sikandarabad with his wife. Amir also mentioned that Salman is staying in a two-room house provided by Jeba’s father.
The authorities are closely monitoring the situation. The Sadar Bazar police have been assigned to oversee the wedding reception at Castle View Mandap, where the event will take place. Interestingly, Salman will not attend the reception, and only his wife Jeba will participate. The police have been instructed to ensure no criminal activities take place during the reception. They are also focusing on identifying potential criminals who are attending the event, particularly those linked to Salman’s D-170 gang. According to police reports, the authorities are compiling a list of guests who may be affiliated with criminal groups.
In addition to monitoring the wedding reception, the police are actively investigating Salman’s criminal history. Law enforcement is gathering evidence for ongoing legal cases, which include several charges related to gang activities and violent offenses. Police sources indicate that the authorities are working to ensure that Salman faces legal consequences for his actions. They are also investigating the involvement of other known criminals connected to the D-170 gang to prevent further illegal activities. While Salman remains district-bound for the time being, authorities are determined to ensure that his criminal influence does not extend further.
